February 20, 1947
Born on February 20, 1947 in Stamford, CT. She was the daughter of the late Joseph and Helen Carta (Pop-Pop & Can-Can). She had been married to her husband Alan for 43 years, her lifetime sweetheart. She worked for Dolan Middle school for 20 years as a teachers aid for special education children. All her life she was dedicated to taking care of her family and not only raised two daughters (Missy & Karie), she was a second mother to five grandchildren (Kevin, Cory, Jaden, Avery & Amaya). She had a heart of gold and gave unconditional love and support always.

On the unfortunate day of June 24, 2010, Sandra passed away and became an Angel in Heaven. She will be loved and missed always.
